At EY we see every day what our people are capable of. And still, we see even more potential! We believe that with the right coaching you can go the extra mile. And we take that quite literally.

15 selected EY colleagues, out of 64 applications, will train and participate in the Paris Marathon, on 15 November 2020! They have passed the medical testings and are ready for personal and group training sessions under the guidance of Olympic running team coach Tim Moriau.

Ready, set, GO!

Our Paris Runners will be guided and coached by the Olympic Team coach Tim Moriau (31). From June 2019 to March 2020 he will organise about 20 group training sessions (2x/month).

Tim started his coaching career as a 19-year-old. In the past years he has developed rapidly as a coach. In addition to various sports-related trainings, he also seized the opportunity to learn from the best coaches and athletes in Europe.

Today we can say that, despite his young age, Tim belongs to the top of the Belgian distance coaches with several international athletes under his care.

In terms of number of participants, this is the largest marathon in Europe and the second largest (after the New York City Marathon) in the world!

In 2018, 43.537 runners (including 10.320 women) took part. Each finisher comes home with incredible memories.

Nearly 145 nationalities come to tackle the most fabled long-distance discipline in athletics. In April, this race across Paris, taking in the Champs Elysées, the Bois de Vincennes and Boulogne, offers an incomparable backdrop, with spectacular views and landmarks all along the route.
